Our Program

The I Decide for Me curriculum was designed by Clarity, a nonprofit based in Southern Indiana. This curriculum is evidence-based and written to state standards. Our program is designed for all students in grades 8-12. We teach that abstinence before marriage is the healthiest option as it is the only way to be sure you can avoid unplanned pregnancy, STIs, and all the other impacts of having sex outside of God’s design.

Whole Person Health- Students learn that they are made up of their physical, emotional, social, ethical, and intellectual selves, and that each part is affected by every choice they make.

Healthy Relationships and Trusted Adults- Students learn how to identify safe vs. unsafe people and learn the importance of having a trusted adult they can take difficult questions to. They also learn about setting healthy boundaries.

The Success Sequence- Students learn the steps they can take to set themselves up for success. If they obtain an education, employment, and get married before having children, they are far more likely not to be impoverished later in life. 97% of Millennials who followed this sequence are not living in poverty now.

Risky Behaviors- Our program teaches the difference between risk reduction and risk avoidance. Our students learn about refusal skills, sexual consequences, and obstacles to a healthy future.
