Volunteer
We Need People Like You! Volunteering at A Hope Center is simple and has fewer requirements than you might think! The most important thing is to have a love for mothers, fathers, and unborn children, as well as a desire to help others.
One of our most popular volunteer opportunities includes our in-office positions, which allow you to engage in a variety of tasks while helping our mission.
In-Office Opportunities
Baby Boutique Volunteer
This person will care for and coordinate the Baby Boutique at A Hope Center, including organizing items, washing clothes, etc.
Receptionist
The receptionist position is ideal for someone with a welcoming, empathetic disposition. Greeting clients at the window, scheduling appointments, answering phones, and doing light clerical work are all responsibilities of this role.
Earn While You Learn Facilitator
EWYL Facilitators act solely as mentors/teachers to clients who have chosen to carry their pregnancy to term. They use a pre-established curriculum and other resources to help clients improve their lives and their families' lives.
Advocate
Female advocates provide peer counseling to women seeking pregnancy and STD testing. Male advocates provide peer counseling to the male partners of women seeking our services. Advocates receive extensive training to fulfill this role.
Nurse
A Hope Center is a limited medical facility. It is important to have nurses available on all shifts to provide nurse-administered pregnancy and STD testing. Nurses may also train as advocates.
