Over 300 walkers and runners enjoyed a cool, but beautiful sunny day at Shoaff Park for this year’s Strides of Hope to benefit A Hope Center Pregnancy and Relationship Resources. Those who walked the 1.8 mile course included people of all ages, babies in strollers, and even a boy on a scooter!  Over 90 runners challenged themselves and each other on the 5K course for a timed race and to compete for prizes. Afterwards, everyone enjoyed a pancake and sausage breakfast donated by IHOP Restaurants! Both walkers and runners enlisted sponsors who donated generously to A Hope Center with the result that we are close to meeting our $62,400 goal! UPDATE: Just over $67,000 was raised at Strides of Hope 2012!  Thanks to everyone who showed up on Saturday, September 15, and for all who pledged, were underwriters, or helped in any way. We couldn’t have done it without you!
